Delete files in Front End

Hello Jan,

I use version 3.0.6
I have added delete rights in catergory and permissions and still the delete button doesn't appear.

Any idea what I missed ...

Can't superusers not manage all files in frontend with delete button active?

Hi! I have a similar problem....

Users can upload files, but the same user can't delete the file.
I can see the "Published, Delete, Active" buttons, but they are not usable.
I can only delete files in backend.

-Categorie rights are correct (Access, Upload and Delete Rights for all registered Users)
-Owner and Uploader of the file is the user who tries to delete the file
-in global configuration - phoca download -general - Access Level is correct

..any ideas?

Hi, in frontend the super user has the same rights like other users - he can delete the files only when he has rights to do ... to manage user's files you should use administration.

Testing now, without any problem - I have uploaded the file and I have delete rights for the category and can normally delete the files

The Tooltip from "Active"-Mouseover looks a bit strange with the <br/>
I don't know whats wrong there. Can't click any of these Buttons.

Hi!
Yes, I uploaded the file.
Owner and Uploader of the file is the same user who tries to delete the file again.

In backend:
Components - Phoca Download - Categories - [MyCategorie] - Delete Rights: All registered Users
I also tried with Delete Rights for my specific User only, but also doesn't work...

Or is there another setting for delete rights?

Hi, no, there is only delete rights settings.

1) Options - enable user Upload
2) Create category where you have upload and delete rights
3) Create menu link to UCP

4) Go to UCP in frontend - you can see the category where you have upload rights - when you upload the file and you have delete rights, the icon is normally active

I have the same problem don't know why. I have done everything like it is said and I can't delete file I have uploaded. ;/
