How to organize uploaded files ?

Hello,
I have first created categories and then uploaded files with the phoca download interface.
Now I want to reorganise my folders , modify categories and move files from old categories to new ones.
I have created new categories/removed old ones with the cpanel interface (from my website hoster). It works well and I can see all the files in the cpanel tree interface.
But the files do not appear in the front end of my internet site. In the phoca interface, files are still in the old tree user phocadownload/old category/file1.
If I select my file via phoca download and apply "processing" to redirect it to the new path, no change happens
How can I modfify the old link/old category to new one to make the files downloadable from the website ??

Hi, when you move the items in administration (e.g. per batch feature), such will be moved e.g. to another category, but the files stored on server are still on the same position, the path will be not changed, the files will be not "physically" moved.
