I've tried switching the template to see if the fault was with that but that didn't solve the problem. I've also tried the solution in the FAQ section of replacing "domready" to "load" in the behavior.php file but that did nothing as well.
Any help solving this would be greatly appreciated! It's a great program and I'd love to be able to use it on my site! Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the reply, but I've already tried this fix a few times and it hasn't worked for me.
I've also never received the "Operation Aborted" error message in IE. The error that I'm facing is that the page on my website is displayed, but not properly. The page and the galleries work in Firefox, but not in IE.
Here's the link to the page on my website that is using Phoca gallery:
I was wondering if it had anything to do with Java? I was reading about how it helps to add "defer" to the Java script so that the page with the galleries will load properly in IE.
I'm not sure which file in Joomla to change the Java script though.
have you tried rhuk_milkyway as template? In IE7 I don't see any template at all. Does your site work when Phoca Gallery disabled (by the way, I suspect you're using the plugin, not that it should matter that much)?

Yes, I've tried all of the default templates that came with the Joomla install, including rhuk_milkyway, and none of them display the gallery properly in IE. And yes, it is the plugin that I'm using.
The Phoca Gallery plugin works for Firefox on any template, but in IE every template disappears for me as well. I've attached photos of what the page looks like in Firefox, which is correct, and in IE.
and my second question: does your site work properly when you turn phoca gallery off (turn the plugin off).
By the way, when I check out the source the phoca gallery plugin css style gets repeated all the time (on my own site I have only 1 css style).
Do you use a SEF component, if you turn it off, does it work?
Which version of the component and the plugin do you use?
Is there a menu item linked to the images, and if so, does it display the same?

It seems as though having more than one gallery displayed in a single article was making the site not work in IE. I've fixed it now and the site's working on both Firefox and IE!
