Phoca Cart is powerful e-commerce extension for Joomla! CMS. It is a shopping cart, built on Joomla! and its framework. It is fully integrated with latest Joomla! system (no bridge, no unnecessary code instructions for obsolete Joomla! versions). It is designed by modern Bootstrap library or Grid/Flexbox CSS. This means that your e-shop will have responsive design and will be displayed in all devices like desktop, notebook, mobile phone or tablet. With help of Phoca Cart you can sell physical products or digital downloads. Phoca Cart can be also used as catalogue, gallery or download extension. Phoca Cart is open source software.
An unlimited number of products, categories, manufacturers, images, order or stock statuses can be used in Phoca Cart. Products can include unlimited number of attributes and their options, specifications, parameters, discounts or related products. Customers will appreciate being able to collect and spend reward points or coupons. They can add their favorite products to wish list or compare them. Customers can be assigned to individual customer groups and thus have different customer group prices. They can review or rate purchased products. Vendors can offer customers discounts on both the product and the entire purchase. Phoca Cart offers the possibility to work with multiple currencies, multiple languages and multiple tax rates. There are several ways to work with stock items, including advanced stock management. Product can be a physical product or digital download product. Invoices, delivery notes or receipts can be displayed as PDF documents and sent to customers per email. There are many payment and delivery methods for Phoca Cart available. Products cen be exported to XML or CSV format and imported from XML or CSV format. Phoca Cart contains features that are usually not standard on similar extensions, such as the ability to submit items in frontend or use Point of Sale.
Phoca Cart is a very modular system just like Joomla! CMS. The basic component can be extended with modules and plugins. The basic plugins include payment and shipping methods but also plugins for displaying different features like Phoca Cart Image Zoom plugin or Phoca Cart Free Shipping Info plugin. Other types of plugins are feed plugins like Phoca Cart Feed Google Merchant Plugin. There are a lot of modules, for example to display comparison list, wish list, currency list or list of ordered products. Of course, Phoca Cart cooperate with other Joomla! components. There is an option to send newsletters to customers with help of Phoca Email component, to display PDF documents with help of Phoca PDF component or to display open graph data with help of Phoca Open Graph plugins. Phoca Cart accepts content plugins, that is, any plugin that can be displayed in the article content, can be displayed in Phoca Cart.
Phoca Cart is ready for template overrides, so there is unlimited possibility to override and customize its HTML output. Phoca Cart is Open Source, therefore, any part of the code can be changed or adapted to your own needs.
