After updating to Joomla! 3.6 : File cannot be select

I looked as best I can but I do not see away to post a screen shot. Not sure what you mean by imgur. The screen shot was only to demonstrate that I am using 3.6.2.

I was considering uninstalling and reinstalling but will wait for your advice.

Check also your database in backend. "repair function".

I performed a check database. It identified that some files had not been closed properly. I ran the "repair function". For the most part the log indicated that repair function was not supported. I ran the check database again and everything looked good.

Unfortunately the download box remains not selectable.

My issue remains so I tried un-installing your download component, deleting the associated directories and re-installing Phoca Download. Now when I mail a link to a file I get a "file not found" error. The un-selectable check box no longer exists. Any idea's?

Hi, this was a Joomla! issue, so upgrading Joomla! solved this problem. Which "un-selectable check box" you mean? Can you paste screenshots?

Sorry for the slow response.

I have upgraded Joomla to 3.6.4 and uninstalled Phoca Download, deleted the download folders and reinstalled Photo Download version 3.1.2.

I uploaded a image file to my website. I created a download link and tried to use it to download that file from my website. Clicking on the link takes you to the website download page as expected. The file name is not there and an error message "file not found" is displayed.

I am still unable to locate the option to attach a screenshot.

When you set direct link for the file in file edit, are you able to download it?

When I set the direct link I can download the file. When I use the unique download link the result is "file not found"
