If you want to create watermarks in your images, you must
- Upload your own watermark image (PNG format) into your category folder placed in /images/phocagallery/ folder. For each category and for each thumbnail size (large, medium) you can select a different watermark image. Name of watermark image must be 'watermark-large.png' (large thumbnails) and 'watermark-medium.png' (medium thumbnails).
- Enable Create Watermark parameter in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.
- Select the position of the watermark in your image in Phoca Gallery Default Settings.
In Create Watermark parameter you can set the following values:
- No - no watermark will be created
- Yes (Folder) - watermark will be created from images which are located in categories folders (watermark-large.png, watermark-medium.png ) - watermark will be created only on images which are located in this folder
- Yes (Root) - watermark will be created from images which are located in root (watermark-large.png, watermark-medium.png ) - watermark will be created on all images
If you need to have the same watermark for all images, you should user Yes (Root). If you need to have different watermarks for different folders, you should use Yes (Folder).
Watermark will be created on medium images if the watermark-medium.png will be located in the folder (Root - for all images, Folder - only for images in folder)
Watermark will be created on large images if the watermark-large.png will be located in the folder (Root - for all images, Folder - only for images in folder)
This means you can set if watermark will be created only on medium images or only on large images or on both.
